About Me

Scarlett looking into the sunlight

My name is Scarlett Anderson, and I am a special educator, freelance graphic designer, and burgeoning art minister.

I graduated from God Loves Art, Foundations in Art Ministry course, and am now enrolled in advanced courses that will complete my certification in art ministry. Jesus has been preparing me to host expressive art events since 2014, and I am humbled by His calling to bring healing and deliverance to others through the arts.

As a novice ukulele player, I occasionally play songs for my students and ultimately aspire to worship the Lord by playing my electric violin with His anointing. I am also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers and enjoy creating teaching videos through Envoy Art Ministry with my number one puppet, Chako. My main passions in the arts are drawing with graphite, conte crayon, and pastels, writing poetry, collaging, and computer design.

Additionally, I am an intelligent and caring professional with a high passion for helping youth reach their fullest potential and I have been succeeding in the field of commercial and public education since 2001. I possess a Master of Arts in Teaching, Special Education degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I am an expert at creating appealing presentation slides using advanced features of animation, interactivity, and accessibility, formatting professional documents, designing dynamic web pages, as well as producing other forms of digital media.
